Morgantown Mall Collaborates with WVU Medicine to Offer Community Vaccine Clinic

A vaccination clinic is being offered initially for senior citizens in the WVU Medicine Logistics Center (formerly Sears) 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday

WVU Medicine has converted a portion of its recently activated logistics center in the former Sears store into a vaccination clinic.

Available by appointment only between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, the clinic will offer vaccinations to those aged 65 and older to begin with. As additional vaccines become available, the clinic’s days and hours of operation may be extended and offered to additional age groups and populations.

The vaccinations are available free of charge; both available FDA-approved vaccines, the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines, will be offered.

Those visiting the clinic are asked to bring the following items to their appointment:

  • a protective mask (all patients must be masked to receive a vaccine)
  • A valid, state-issued West Virginia driver’s license or identification card (or valid and unexpired US Passport or US Passport Card, along with a recent utility bill that includes a West Virginia address)
  • One family member or friend if you need assistance (all visitors must wear a mask)

Additional information about the new vaccine clinic or to register for an appointment is available by visiting wvumedicine.org/info/vaccine or calling by 833-795-SHOT (7468).
